...

On Friday I woke up and had to go to the airport with my mom to pick up some more family. It's probably the most people we will ever have sleeping in our house! Every room was full and all couches and we have a large house!
After picking them up at the airport we went to my sisters house to see if Zach could find out what is wrong with my parents car. Shortly after getting there it starts to rain. And I don't mean just a rain shower, it seems more like a monsoon! The roads were flooding and looked like rivers!! It had been raining all week and the weather did say that it was supposed to rain on Saturday as well. I had decided that if it rained during our wedding I would be ok. I have actually heard rain on your wedding day is good luck.
Zach was not able to figure out what was wrong with my parents car so we had to get it towed to a shop and luckily they were able to fix it that day.
Everyone was hungry and decided to go eat so I stayed with my dad to wait for the tow truck while we watched the rain just keep pouring. After that we headed home so I could get a few more things done when my dad and I decided to go get some food ourselves.
Our rehearsal dinner was that night. Zach had told people to come at 5 I had told people 6 haha! Bad communication there. Just like everything with the wedding we were scared but the rain was no where to be seen and not a cloud in sight. It was good because we were having a BBQ outside for the rehearsal dinner. Everything went great! Other then I didn't have any of the food because my dad and I had such a late lunch.

Waking up on Saturday morning, it was raining. Oh no. We decided to go buy some umbrellas for the wedding so those who would come didn't have to be wet. Our decorator called and said she couldn't bring the stuff until right before the wedding because of the rain. As long as it is up by 5!
This day went by so fast! We needed to start getting ready at 12:30. I didn't even have time to shower!! As Lizzy was doing my hair everyone's phone went off. It was a flash flood alert! Are you kidding me?! My phone has never done this before and it is on my wedding day! I look outside and there isn't even any rain. Huh? We had outside pictures starting at 2 in my wedding dress. I didn't want to be wet walking down the isle!
Well by 2 there was not a cloud in the sky and not a drop of rain touched our house. All the prayers had been heard.
I was scared if it was raining that a lot of people would chose to stay home, especially if it was flash flood raining. But we had the perfect turn out.
We came home and started taking the family and bridal party pictures. I was really angry with the photographer. I had emailed her the Monday before the wedding to get a timeline figured out for the day and had not heard back from her. I called her 2 times on Friday (the day before the wedding) and no answer. Finally I had seen an email from her in my inbox saying she will meet us at the park at 2 the wedding day. I was disappointed because for the engagement and bridal pictures she was so professional and even went to the locations before and figured out poses and places to take the pictures. On the wedding day she was 15 minutes late and didn't even know where the park was. We had to tell her all the poses and pictures we wanted done. Believe she should have known what poses to do an directed us. He just stood in he back and waited for us to tell her to start taking pictures.
After all was said and done, the pictures turned out wonderful. I love looking at them. They will be included in the next post :).
