Meet the wedding party!

Here are all the wonderful people we chose to be part of our wedding!

We will start with the ladies...

Maid of honor is my sister. She was my biggest supporter through out the whole process of wedding planning. I could not have done it without her!

My best friend! I was glad to have her here with me on this special day and can't wait to be with her on her day when it happens!

Zach's sister was able to come celebrate with us! We were so happy to have her here.

Zach's niece was the flower girl. She was so fun!

All the girls wore cowboy boots.

Now the men!

Zach's best friend was best man.

Zach's brother and the flower girls dad.

Zach's younger brother.

Our co worker and great friend married us. He was the person responsible for getting us to hang out for the first time!

Some more of our family and support system!

I would not have chosen any one else to be by our sides on this day. Thank you I everyone!

Wedding Decorations

love everything about the wedding decorations! I wanted a country/rustic themed wedding and I think everything went together perfectly! We didn't buy our decorations, we rented them. I suggest everyone do this unless they have plans for everything after the wedding is over! We used MyEventRental. Kathy was amazing to work with and she is so nice!

These are horse shoes welded together. Zach's dad made them for us. It was my favorite decoration!

I bought this chalk board from Joann's. I had a 50% off coupon and I think it cost $15 after the coupon.

My sister made these for my bridal shower and I loved them so much I asked her if I could have them for the wedding!

Zach's mom and step dad bought the straw for us because they have horses and could use it after the wedding. I bought the letters from Joann's also an wrapped them in twine.

My friend Shaliece had this pillow made for us, I love it!

These chairs were perfect for the wedding! They were painted to look vintage and I loved them!

Zach made fun of this decoration. It was not anything like a real hitching post but it was still cute!

Our back drop was amazing!

We had her put up lights across our yard so when the sun went down there was still light. I wanted to keep them.

I'm so sad that we didn't get pictures of the tables! We had round tables with ivory linens. Over the linen we had a burlap and lace runner. So cute!

For the guest book I wanted something other then a book. We had to rip down our fence and put up a new one so I decided to use a piece of our old fence. I painted it.

My mom wanted to put up some balloons to direct everyone to the right house. This picture is cute with the lights in the background.

Out table center pieces.

The chair ties.

Sugar Skull

My sister asked me to go to a Dia De Los Muertos party with her and she wanted to paint a sugar skull on her face. I went to the Halloween store to pick up some make up. It was nice because it was Novermber 1st and everything was on sale! I got A LOT of makeup for $18.
I looked up online some pictures that I liked and these are what I found...
They were all beautiful to me but I decided to use the 2nd one as my inspiration. It took an hour and a half to paint my face! Finally my sister decided it took too long and we didn't paint hers. This is how it turned out...

Well I had so much fun painting my face, while Zach was at work the next day I painted it again and then again haha!

These are the 2 I did that day.

Needless to say, my face hurt that night from all the make up that I rubbed off. That stuff stays on good!

I took some pictures to show how I did it, in case anyone else wants to try!

1. Find a picture of something you like. This was mine.

2. Start with a fresh clean face! The makeup lasts longer and looks better on a clean face. Pull your hair out of your face.

Tools needed:
Makeup in the colors you want to use.
Black eye liner.
White base makeup (it doesn't have to be white or you don't need a base makeup if you don't want a color underneath)
Makeup sponge.
Small paint brushes.
Water.

3. Paint your face with the base color.

4. Choose color for eyes and paint the shape you want then outline it with the eye liner.
I didn't paint over my eyebrows. Just filled it in with the eye liner.

It's all pretty easy! The hardest part for me was doing the left side of my face because I am right handed. You just draw whatever designs you want!

One thing I found to help was make an outline then paint the inside then outline again because I always tend to mess up an go outside the lines!
Don't buy cheap makeup if you want it to last a while too. The make up I bought was great! The colors didn't blend together. It dried fast!
This was my favorite, I think it turned out good! I can't wait until next Halloween now. It will be fun. I want to do something scary on Zach and me!
